At Fernhill Wetlands I saw this big white egg. It was about the size of a chicken or duck egg. We saw it on the rocky bank all alone. I guess the bird that laid it only lays one egg a year or maybe all the others hatched. It might be a dud. What do you think?~Grace
Grace,
ReplyDeleteI also wonder whether or not this egg will hatch. It seems that all of the goslings are hatched and growing so fast! Could you believe how much they grew between the two times we visited? I was amazed! I haven't seen any ducklings at the wetlands yet, have you? What do you think will happen to this egg? Do you think the parents are near by? Will you visit the wetlands soon with Peaches and find out for us?
