At Fernhill Wetlands I saw some eggs on the rocks. There were like a million of them! I was exploring the rocks on the bottom of the water when I found the rock with the eggs on it! I don't know what kind they are, but maybe you can find out. I hope you're interested in the Fernhill Wetlands. Have fun exploring the wetlands!

Very cool Ms. Cali. I hope you enjoyed your day at the wetland! By the looks of things, you were not shy of all the mud and fun.

Wow! I want to find out what those are!
ReplyDeleteGood work Cali - keep trying to find out about those eggs - I would like to know what they are as well. You and your classmates have done a great job!
ReplyDeleteCali,
ReplyDeleteI tried looking for photos of these eggs online and found a neat site you might like to visit. There is one photo of a rock with eggs on it and they say they are snail eggs. I'm not sure if they look just like yours though. Take a look and see what you think!
Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteDid you see any snails in the area? How long do snail eggs take to hatch once they are laid? I wonder if there are any types of animals at the wetlands that feast on snail eggs....

Yes at the fern hill wetlands
ReplyDeleteCali, if you went back to he location where you found the eggs and check on their development again, there may be further clues to help in deciding what they are. Grandpa
