Dragonfly

I was exploring at Fernhill Wetlands. I found a special path. I could see lots of water then I looked at a plant. I saw a blue dragonfly. I saw lots of them flying and Ms. Sherry took a picture.

    Hi Kyle,

    I remember seeing these critters a lot when I was a little girl on fishing trips! Are they really called dragonflies, or are they damselflies? What are the differences between the two?

    What is a damselfly? Does somebody want to tell me how to find out what a damselfly is?

    That's amazing that you were able to spot one! They blend in so well with the grass that I usually don't see them while they are sitting still. Sharp eyes Kyle!
